Product Description

Safe-Guard Paste is given orally to beef and dairy cattle. Refer to package insert for instructions and indications for treatment. Under conditions of continued exposure to parasites, retreatment may be needed after 4-6 weeks. There are no known contraindications to the use of the drug in cattle. For dairy cattle, there is no milk withdrawal period.  Cattle must not be slaughtered within 8 days following the last treatment. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

Dosage & Administration:

Safe-Guard Paste is given orally. The dose is 5 mg fenbendazole/kg (2.3 mg/lb) or 11.5 g Safe-Guard (fenbendazole) Paste per 500 pounds of body weight.
